Our 2017 grantees will be travelling to countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Lebanon, to report on stories of gang culture, illegal fishing, K-Pop obsessed Iraqi youth and much more.

Join us on Instagram where we’ll be profiling each grantee and their projects in the next few weeks.

Every year we fund and support emerging journalists and filmmakers to tell original stories from the developing world. The next round of our Production Fund opens for applications on Monday 4 September. In addition to funding, each grantee will receive one-to-one mentoring from industry experts throughout their project, as well as the opportunity to attend essential workshops on sound, editing and post-production – and much more!

Want to apply? In order to be eligible, you must first attend one of our International Reporting workshops, designed to equip and prepare journalists and filmmakers for the realities of working overseas.
